You must be a Plano Pacer member to be eligible for year end awards.
All members would be required to volunteer at one race to be eligible for the PARTICIPATION or VOLUNTEER awards. Some volunteer positions could still participate in the race. Examples are course setup, member log in, bib distribution, membership and Kids’ K.
To be eligible for the Most Improved Pacer, you must have run at least six recorded Plano Pacer races since 2000, and run at least four races in 2008.
The existing Grand Slam, Super Grand Slam, Double Grand Slam and Double Super Grand Slam awards will be eliminated.
The Grand Prix system will be maintained with results posted on the club's website. No individual annual awards will be provided.
Individuals setting new course records will be recognized race day, in the Newsletter and online in the Records section.
Prediction Run awards of “Least Seconds and Most Points” will go five(5) deep.
No changes are being made to the Kids’ K rewards system.
Rules may be revised as needed.
In 2007, the Top 5 MIP and APA received plaques. Top 25 APA's received a personalized bib shirt. Top 10 MIP adults received RunOn gift certificates. All MIP qualifiers received a personalized bib/score card.
