Most Improved Pacers

 

Rules

To be eligible for the Most Improved Pacers award (in 2007) a member must:
  • run(finish) at least 4 monthly Pacer races in 2007, and
  • have run at least 6 monthly Pacer races (Kid's K included) from Nov 2000 to Dec 2006 (what is available online).
Formula:
  • At the end of the year, the top 4 races of each race runner will be computed and averaged. That will be their 2007 Score.
  • For those who ran at least 6 Pacer races in the past, the average of the top 2/3rds of all their past races will be their Base Score(Pre-2007).  This takes away 1/3 of the scores to account for those races (injury/bad race).
  • Improvement(2007) = 2007 Score – Base Score(Pre-2007)
